Southport Winter Offshore Regatta

Southport Yacht Club is conducting an offshore regatta for off the beach multihulls on 5-6th August...if you didn't already know.

I'm on holidays when this regatta's on and about 2 month ago was wondering what to do with the time, so booked a holiday in Mildura. If I had known this regatta was on I could have gone to Qld. Oh well, something about bolting horses and gates. I'll keep marking time until the end of Sept. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Any reports from the regatta, did it go ahead? I understand it was blowing a bit...kinda glad I'd broken the rear beam and couldn't make it.
