Hi,

Anyone here have experience with the NACRA 5.7 or 570? Looking for some info as my cousin is looking to possibly purchase one.

I've seen a couple. Typical older Nacra style boat/construction but with skeg keel instead of daggerboards. I've never sailed one but the people I knew that have owned them seemed to like them. I wouldn't expect it to point as well as a daggerboard equipped boat but it would be a little more simple to operate on/off the shore and in surf.

there is a thread on it on the beach cats currently

we have one on our beach (5.7 actually) - it is a great boat
fast , easy, no boards - points very well considering

I get beat every time i race against them - 2 (not thin guys)

Just heard of Nacra and surprised how good they are.
