So how are the foam core (26lb lighter) and non foam core boats racing against each other? What about the larger square top main vs. standard 8.3 main? I'm all about evolution but I see nothing in the class rules regarding these changes to what is otherwise a nice one design boat.

Great question! Bob Hodges and the Class is working that out right now with our PRO Hal Smith and US Sailing.

WOW!

WetaFest HQ was contacted today by two New Zealand Weta owners about the details for a charter.

Don't let the 2018 US Multihull Championship for the Alter Trophy be taken home to New Zealand.

You don't want to miss this EPIC once in a lifetime event, April 18-22nd, 2018, at Fort Walton Yacht Club in Florida! This is your chance to race against top multihull champions from other classes to show them how it's done. Eleven boats are registered and it's only January. Mr. "Hot n' Now" Donutz has already committed along with his partner in crime, "Davo".

Roger Kitchen, son of designer/chief test skipper, is coming all the way from New Zealand and will join 500 times National Champion Randy Smyth conducting his "Go Fast" clinic on Wednesday, April 18th followed by 4 days of racing.

Call Weta Florida dealer, Dick Hitchcock at (941) 928-9486 to reserve your charter boat NOW before they're gone.

For those sailors that want to save some $$$, sign up double handed and split the charter fee and expenses at this one in a lifetime Weta SWARM event!
