C2 diamond adjustment - 12/24/16 12:42 PM

Hey guys. Anyone find a ratcheting wrench that will fit the C2? I know it's 17mm but the clearance around the adjustment nut is very tight.

Jeff,

This is the wrench I have on my boat: https://www.suncoasttools.com/crm/I...MM+++++56317++28&VendorNumber=CHIBRA

I think this is the same thing: https://www.amazon.com/17mm-Alden-S...amp;keywords=17mm+wrench+stainless+steel

I don't tend to use the ratcheting portion, not quite enough holding power. I would prefer a standard box end wrench to reduce the chance of slipping on the nut. West Marine has a complete set for sale for $90, down from $225...

I used a ratcheting wrench from Lowes. It fits. A little work with a grinder and it really fits.

Note: Use the grinder on the wrench, not the mast base.

Cool - will give it a shot. Seems I only need to shave a mm or two off the end of the wrench.
