I was sure glad to see a fresh northerly treat the "Wind - Lovin' Wave sailors to some fun racing for the second day. I've been inland, but it appears that right along the coast in our area (Pensacola Bay) yesterday that the fleet was greeted by a sea breeze. They launched a number of races, with Rick White building a picket fence against Mike Pedersen (PBYC Commodore) and our local sailmaker, Hunter Riddle, from Schurr Sails. That is how the podium looked this morning.
The real test of skill remains, and that will be - who can still sail fast tomorrow following the Pensacola Beach Yacht Club's annual Halloween Party...tonight...
