Repairing cracked transom

Repairing cracked transom - 12/22/15 12:55 PM

Has anyone ever repaired a cracked Wave transom? I hear conflicting reports on using LDPE brazing rods, G/Flex, 5200, Devcon Plastic Welder (methyl methacrylate), etc. What works?

I do not need to restore the strength to secure the pintles as I have another way to remount those. I only need to seal the boat's skin and stop the cracking with a deep crevice repair.

I don't have any experience with the wave but I have succesfully repaired holes in a couple of large polly tanks with Ferroprae. It sticks to just about anything and sets rock hard
