National Hall of Fame for Sailors

Inductees are selected for a number of reasons, i.e., their dedication to the sport, their pioneering in the sport, the sharing of their knowledge, their sailing abilty, their good sportsmanship, etc. In other words these are people that are highly contributive to this great sport of sailing. The first ten inductees were selected in the 1996-1997 season. They are listed below in alphabetical order.
