Anybody ever weigh their I20?? I curious to what weight they are actually coming out at. Pcat says they weigh 390 but the EU site says they weigh 420. I've heard they made them heavier for the '01 Worrell. anyone have any real info? Thanks.

TB

Hey Todd

Talk with George... He has that new calibrated load cell... The A cats were measured off the tree in front of the club house with the sticks down. You guys would have a good sample!... Not to mention... once the mast is down... you could just pop it on the trailer and make it over to Rock Hall for the regatta!! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

My pre-Worrell year 2000 I-20 weighed in at 385 pounds a few years back.

It was at one of the Tradewinds regattas when they used to be run out of Rick’s Place in Key Largo. A bunch of the Hobie 16 sailors started jawing about boat weights, next thing I knew I saw them bust out 4 sets of bathroom scales.

I got in line just for the fun of it.

And no, my I-20 is not for sale.

Chip - you need crew sometime? I'm over in Naples now, and boatless after I sold #279/501.

Could possibly talk the wife into Tradewinds or maybe Steeplechase, especially if we could use your second floor..

PM me when you have a chance.

2001 I20 (sail 314) weighed in at 428 at Spring Fever '06. Someone told me Mark Smith's 2005ish boat weighed in at around 450ish. This last part is of course ishish.

I just wanna give some love to my bro Tikipete, even though he is an internet sailor, he is a sailor nonetheless. The Mac 26x comparison was a little harsh. Consider this my apology.
