You don't need much rust to get far down the results in the Australian nationals! I've sailed the 2005 Nationals and it was tough! They have many good Hobie 16 sailors in Australia.

Judging from the photos, looks like similar breeze as in Fiji...maybe even lighter!

Did you see the post re the Taipan Nationals in Queensland this very same week? They are getting blown out with strong winds.
