Wolverine with a stubby. Now that would be cool.
I can see the resemblance in the attachment
As quoted from wikipedia:
In appearance, the wolverine resembles a small bear with a long tail. It has been known to give off a very strong, extremely unpleasant odor, giving rise to the nicknames "skunk bear" and "nasty cat."
I don't think it's Balnarring. There's just too much concrete !!

Talking to phillip this was taken at Lake Mumorah at the nationals in 2002-03 there was some discussion as to wind strength and if sailing should go ahead?

Yes it was Munmorah. What I dont have is photos of the tents being destroyed and Maricats being blown all over the beach. We tried to keep our boats away from them!
I seem to recall Lyn's tent taking quite a beating.
I haven't seen Bob's wind gauge out since.
For an extra 15 points what is the name of the Mosquito at the bottom right of the photo?
And here's the view of the lake at the time.

No-one would mistake Bobs Mozzie "Voodoo" in the foreground.
Just guessing that everyone wanted the wind to drop so is it Greg Plum's Mozzie "P off" ?
gee Tim you have got me feeling teary, remenicising and all. Ignore my spelling time for another beer.
Neil S in the picture should have given the location away, due to how young he looked and how young Bob looked
The boat in question couldn't be the original Atreus could it? No idea why I think it was there, but for some reason in the dark recesses of my mind, it popped up.
Thing I can't understand is why I was out of frame, sure I was telling everybody that the wind looked good for a race. After all I think I was at the peak of my powers about then (95 kg.) only rivalled by Philip .
So "powers" can be measured purely in kg? Excellent - my powers are increasing a little every year!
Here's the only other beach photo I have from Munmorah - no action shots I'm afraid.
Bob seems to be concentrating on something! That's Greg's "P off" he's looking at - seems it has blue lines so that's not the boat in the first photo - I think it might be Prestissimo.

Sorry, I still think the two different boats , later model centreboards on the beach shot, and the pinstrip steps down just before the main beam in the sailing shot.
And the forestay setup is different, single on the beach, and double on the water.
