Posts: 26 Barmera SA | Thanks for that, David. I certainly look forward to reading the updates.
So Bob has sent out an ominous warning - when the going gets tough and rough, he still pulls through!! I wonder if he is using the same sail as previous campaigns, or whether he got one made for the expected heavier conditions that is likely to prevail over there? Whatever the case, he keeps putting in an amazing performance. Just Do It 1732

Posts: 224 Lake Bonney, SA | Today saw the first 3 races run and won, and the results will be posted as soon as I have them in my hands.
The day started light and seemed a good way to ease into this (5-10) and on the second leg the course rotated 90 anti clockwise and we now had a new work, same course, just different. The afternoon saw a lot of us watching and waiting for the strong sea breezes which did not happen, 10- 12 and steep wind waves and the second started in similar conditions dropping out to very light and smooth seas, at present it is glass smooth and tomorrow is forecast to be strong northerly's which will be a whole new ball game.....we will see.
Some damage done, my youngest doing a run back home to get rh traveller from the other boat after his exploded and the resulatant damage from 2 Mk2's coming together, fingers crossed they both make it back on the water in the morning.
again, hope to update results asap but will try to keep up with events.....tomorrow night is AGM and see what that brings.

Posts: 224 Lake Bonney, SA | Friday say the race committee plan 2 races, back to back, again in shifty winds of 5 to 20 knots. This made for some wild rides at times and slow concentration periods for others with the positions changing with each leg, interesting and fun. The Mk1's had the first recall for a start with one individual recall being issued. The Mk2's, not to be outdone, went one better with one crew picking up the barging bouy when signing on and came to an abrupt halt, pitching his female crew forward and in a somersault she landed between the hulls.....no score from the judges for difficulty yet. The rst of the racing was fun, fast but all enjoyed them. Presentation is tonight and final places will be out for all the see.
I will endeavour to have all trophies and prentations listed tomorrow.
Good series, fun, windy, shifty and a lot of other things and we can now all start to plan for the next Championships to be hosted by NSW.
