Have been trying to work issues in Key West. Problems are hotel rates, trailer parking and location for awards. can do all but not without some issues. Consider this: What about finishing race and returning to the Islander for awards. Same day of race. Boats can be stored there for Tybee start, two weeks later, hotel can be kept for second overnight if wanted, family may want to stay there or come down for finish, and we can run a Triangle race on Sunday for those interested. We also could do a reverse race, Key West to the Islander, by trailoring down on day of race, launch from the beach and race northward. This would likely be a beat all the way, and lose the sled ride. The Tybee is considering, only considering, a Key West start for the following year. This would be a test.
