To me, one of the most frustrating aspects to the ISAF process of selecting Olympic events is figuring out who did what and to whom? With the 2011 mid-year meeting over and the reintroduction of the multihull event, I believe the multihull community needs to appropriately respond by thanking all of those that helped with the effort.

Who are they?

In the US, John Williams has been an ambassador for the multihulls and "held the course" despite the outcry for a public thrashing of US Sailing. Thanks John!

Gary Jobson. Since taking leadership of US Sailing in October, 2009. He has been a strong advocate of multihulls and their inclusion in the Olympics. All those multihull racers that stopped their membership should rejoin now!!!!

Ernesto B!

Had he not tried to rig the AC game... no Deed of Gift Challenge... No Cat versus Tri AC.... No full on program on cat's for the San Fran AC.

When EVERY submission has one multihull included... every one gets the message... get in line with the multihull bandwagon.... As Paul P noted... the inclusion was pre ordained this time.
