Are there any Taipans sailors reading this forum that are from the US or Europe and that are intending to sail in the inaugural Taipan Nations Cup in Thailand?

I doubt you will get anyone from the US to attend. We are having a hard enough time getting Taipan sailors to travel half way across the United States to attend the US Taipan Nationals let alone half way around the world to Thailand!
