A public thank you to you for allowing me to sail your Hobie 20 while in Miami! What a blast. I've attached a photo to this post so you can see just how much fun I'm having!
Thanks again, Eric!
If you want to sail in Minnesota some time, you know who to call!

It's a backyard paint job. looks good from far but far from good, you know, wind, dust bugs, solar heat and glare make it hard to get a good even coat. The color is good, "New Teal" by Awl Grip. Do you know if I can sand imperfevtions and re-spray?

unfortunately with awlgrip you can't do that.... which is one of the reasons why I painted my beater H17 with one part brightsides. Its easy to touch up and holds up pretty well. We got a pretty good even coat using an HVLP setup.

Damn it! Next time it is gel coat...as was intended. I tried to take the cheap way out and now I am stuck with a less than great situation.....hind sight, in advance, for others.
