I've been keeping an eye out for the best books on sailing catamaran's and have seen quite a few.

Assuming your talking about racing (this is not an attempt to glorify the site owner) "Catamaran Racing for the 90's" ala Rick White and Mary Wells has so much information that it can't possibly absorbed by a single reading. Guess I have to respond. No! Not precisely on wing masts, although you are not talking about wing masts either -- rather about a mast with a large major axis. And that is addressed quite deeply in "Catamaran Racing: For the 90s"

I've read Rick's book twice now. It's great, but I had the incredible fortune to go to one of his Sailing seminars where he fills in the knowledge gaps, and answers the specific questions YOU have which might not be explained for each individual's boat or situation in the book. Was the best sailing instruction and experience anyone could dream of. Would have taken me 4 or 5 years to MAYBE get to the performance level I've achieved in the few months since his Seminar. Buy the book, or any other, but you can't learn to sail from a book and get nearly as much out of it as you can by attending one of the seminars. Thanks again Rick, has made all the difference.
