The issue at hand is why when the technology(old technology) is there to easily build a boat 100+ lbs lighter do we insist on heavy boats. If you say its an established fleet and satisfactory to those participating then that should be the end of the argument. Viva La F18 unless you think its too heavy. Its too heavy for me unless we had a big fleet here, in which case I would probably have an F18.
