1) Stay close to the beach 2) Stay close to the beach 3) Stay close to the beach
For safety, more wind or both?
Wind.
If there is an advantage to be had by going 14 miles offshore for wind, you bet we're there. I've seen a few teams try to go for better breeze or a 4knot current in the Gulf Stream but I have never seen it pay off.
