I spend the last 30 minutes looking at the picture and trying to find out what made me like the hull shape so much at first glance. I just couldn't put my finger on it.
Then is occured to me that Phill had once said that the attraction of a hull is mostly determined by the deck shape on the bows. And that is exactly what it is !
The gunwhales on the foredeck are rounded from the stem to the mainbeam landing and it is done in a very understated way. It even continues past the mainbeam and creating a very nice rounded corner to seat your butt or place your feet while trapping.
It has a very pretty nose, I like it.
Just as John Alani, I can't what to see the finished product at Zandvoort for the Global Challenge.
