I echo the praise, kudos, and appreciation for the coverage.
I am equally interested in hearing about how the fellows that have continued to run the course after being disqualified as I am about the contenders in the race.

I agree. I've long felt that anyone who completes the Olympic marathon should get a medal; Iron.
Same respect goes to these folks, especially those who continued when they knew they were out of contention.
Is there any award for simply competing? Something more substantial than a t-shirt?
