Thought I'd report in!

Winds did not live up to forcast.

No Rain, but started in 5-10 gusting to 0 and finished in 0 gusting to 0 and a nasty tide.

Sadly, I put in a discraceful performance. After winter fix ups and modifications, dry hulls and everything worked fine except for that thing on the end of the tiller. Late for the start... Had 3 goes at getting across the start (I need to pay more attention to the tides, and all down hill from there.

On the upside, 3 positives were gained from the day.

1) I've joined a club that takes it's sailing seriously. ( when debating whether to send a boat out to tow me in, the decision was made that another 55 min at 0.000005 knots was much better than the ignomy of a tow.

2) I'm now confident that at current rates, I will be a serious threat for the 2028 state titles!

3) I could have been home not sailing.

Think I need some more winter sailing.... Is Sugarloaf up and runnin yet ?

Cheers
