Tri's had some great racing. the 31 1D was incredibly fast on the return leg and was able to win line honors by a large margin (course with a rating of minus 51, you know that sucker is a fast ride).

We had a great race, with the team staying focused on the game throughout. Scott on the bow, Dave on the headsails, Craig on tactics and I was on the helm for most of the race (Craig alternated a couple of times). Scott and Dave once again proved they are the hardest working men in sailing.

We ended up in second place after 100 miles losing to Randy Smyth by 34 seconds on corrected time. OUCH!!!! That said, if you have to lose to anyone, Randy is the man. On board he had Zach Grant, Hobie Wave world champ and his two sons Logan and Matthew.

Boudicca came in 3rd place after a great race - they made a great call on the shore and it paid off royally.

The race was a spinnaker for most of the day - we flew the screacher on one leg and had a total blast ripping along at over 20 knots on a close reach. It is what these boats are all about.

Everyone seems to have had a great time. Brian Lambert, part of our crew in Key West and his crew Jamie were incredibly fast on their Carbon fiber Cat taking their class. Kudos guys.

Looking forward to Houston and the NOODs

Cliff.
