I think Sogncab has a particular secondhand FX-one in mind. It is basically a good boat, try to get a test ride and see for yourself !
Wouter
Its an 06'. A dude bought it in the midst of a mid-life crisis. Got it home, changed his mind and the dealer wouldn't return it. Which I think he was right in doing so. So its being sold on consignment. It's never touched water. Comes with a jib, but no self tacker. Also has double traps on it. I'd have to buy a spin and snuffer, and a self tacking jib would be sweet. I also planned on the comfort wings. They look like a good trade off. Its good to hear from wouter that the 2-up works well. Thats one of the things I dislike about the H14, its a submarine with 2 people on it. I really would like to try out a F16, but I don't want to be racing strictly portsmouth. A-cat, same thing, but with out the capacity for crew.
As far as the local fleet goes for one design it is non-existant at the moment, but a few others are talking about getting one and as I said before someone has to go first.
I've been sailing a H16 for the last 3 years, and while not a technical boat, I still screw up tuning on a regular basis. So I'm going to be pretty much F'd on something more high tech.
So far there hasn't been too many negative things and mostly positive, about the boat its self, which is what I was trying to root out with this post.
