Okay, so all the advice I'm getting here boils down to (essentially) just walking the mast up like every other trailerable boat. Have some kind of step to get up on the tramp and avoid electric wires. Oh, in response to Tikipete, there are warning all over the mast about power lines and half of the little instruction manual I have (which doesn't really help) is dedicated to risk of electrocution. I kind of like the idea of putting a cleat of some sort on the main beam so it'll make the jump from the tramp to the ground (to attach forestay to the bridles) less dramatic and less hazardous.
I thank all of you, I wasn't sure what kind of reception I'd get as a "stranger" on this board, but I was astonished at the replies.
Oh ya, and this board's "Nacra 5.0 vs. Hobie 16" thread helped push me to the craft I now have.
