Afterburner has raced twice against LoeReal...in the last two Newport Beach to Ensenada events...both were light wind affairs and both times we got a spanking.

Looking at the broken foil reminds me on the sheared off rudder we had a few years ago on 'burner. Same kind od design issue...max stiffness too far back of the max chord point. This can lead to blade futter and thus failure. The spar needs to be from the leading edge to the max chord point.
