I took a fitting for a tiller extension for a wooden tiller (looks like a little stainless top hat about 3/4" tall with screw holes in the brim)and riveted it to the crossbeam,and I had a shore power cord end that happened to be the right diameter for the pole and drilled a hole in the end for the other fitting, then the tension of the bridles keeps it from hopping off .You could get a plastic blank lathed to the right size of course, but it feels so nice to find two parts in the junk bin and put them to use. People do wonder why I have a 50 amp rated bow pole though. . .
