A couple of months ago, I had my mainsheet and blocks, rudders and tillers, spin pole hoop, roller fullering drum, and forestay ajuster were stolen off my I-20. This was all stolen from behind a locked gate at a private yacht club (lots of other boats of all types around, yet mine was the only one hit). I have scoured e-bay and the various sailing website classifieds looking for it. Thankfully insurance covered all of it. I did file a police report, but, as I expected, they were no help at all. In fact, about 2 months after the theft, I received an e-mail from the police dept stating that the case was being closed because I never responded to the officer who claimed that he had tried repeatedly to contact me regarding the theft. That was pure BS!!!!!

You'd think as small of a community as we are and as specific as the parts are, they'd turn up pretty quick after being stolen. Unfortunately that is often not the case.

Now nothing stays on the boat. I went out and bought a trailer box and everything gets locked up.
