yeh thanx for that Gary i gave Tony a call today and got a quote out of him of $700 for two carbon rudders blades only and tahts with six months waranty, AHPC gave me a quote of $875 for teh carbon v series which is an a-class rudder i belive but also used on mozies, and i also have contacted Peter Cobdon about the boyer molds and hes getting back to me with the details of the guy who has them. so iv still got a bit more research to do. what are ur thaughts of using new baldes in my old aluminium rudder boxes as theres nuting realy wrong with the boxes, im on a rather cheap budget and i would just fit the rod and pin lock down system like used on A-classes rather than the primitative rope system i have holding my timber rudders down at present.
