Hopefully your soft area is small enough to be removed with the installation of deck ports. If not, you'll have to get some epoxy into the delaminated area. Cutting openings for the deck ports will go a long way to access the repair area. I installed them in my Hobie 16 a couple years ago and it is really easy.
