Your jib cleats are too far forward. The stock turbo jib cars are monted aft of the crossbar thru holes in the tramp and secured with a wire running underneath. Mounting the cleats on the side members is going to open the jib slot way too much and going to weather will be very inefficent. I would not recommend shortening the "legs" on the forestay bridle due to the stress you will be applying to the bows. Plus I don't think this will accomplish much. Best recommendation I can make is either find a turbo tramp or sail as a uni-rig.
