Well i agree in the person above about a used mast but fixing your mast can be ok. If you race i would say look for a new mast because the sleeve will make the boat heavier and we all know every small detail helps. But if your not racing and dont want to get rid of your mast you can get it fixed but there are a few things to think about.

1. It will put on more weight

2. If its not done right it can be dangerous

3. The main thing is is it going to cost more to get it fixed and be cheaper to get a new one

Well I highly suggest the new mast but the fixing well find a good guy to do it. Well what ever you do get it done soon and get out sailing, have fun.
