If the club wants to make the logos available wastage will be minimum on a cut&plot machine, and the club can sell those a a bargain price. Tha paper that is used to hold the pieces together is called transfer paper or transfer film. If you use Vinyl with polyacrylate adhesive I'd recommend you put a tiny quantity of liquid hand soap in water and spray on the sail before, so positioning will be easier. Polyacrylate adhesive vinyl (film) usually cures completely after a few days if you use water to position the film (depends on temperature).
