I have recently bought a used old Nacra 5.0 in the Netherlands. The hull number can be read below the rear beam and is hand writen as follows: NACA 2072L 586. The original main sail is white with center red and yellow stripes and apart from figures 5.0 has no inverted U logo nor sail number. I would like to add now a number to the sail for identification in Barcelona Spain where I live, what is the usual numbering policy? should I use the same number as the hull (I guess 2072) ? Do the last digits of the hull code indicate that the manufacturing year is 1986?
