I'm glad to report that ALL the bad Juju has been ground away and the first layers of gelcoat are applied.








The jury is still out on the Duratec. They typical gelcoat orange-peel may have been slightly better but it's still pretty lumpy. I've opened up the orifice on my paint gun from 1.4mm to 1.6mm to see if it will stop the spattering. Two tone gel coat repair is an interesting feat. I'm wondering if I shouldn't have tried to mask both sides of the color joint instead of overlapping...who knows. With any luck, this stuff will completely kick tonight so I can start on the yeller. (thank goodness it's warm!).
