I found out today of the passing of Greg "Smitty" Smith. Smitty was a fixture in the cat sailing community around Florida and Dunedin Causeway. The Tampa Bay Catsailors are renaming the Mini Macho - "Around the Island" Regatta to the Mini Macho - Greg "Smitty" Smith Memorial Regatta.
