Me and Neville were the only uni-F16's...Neville had a commitment on Easter Sunday so he left (of course after the party Saturday night!).

...and glad I did. Scored a nice wet suit and a couple of hats. My raffle tickets were on fire. Unfortunately my sailing was not. I have a lot to learn for the transition to cat sailing.

One thing about the class is how helpful everyone was to support me like they did. It was my first time out on the boat and it was an awesome experience. Thanks to all of you that helped me (especially Terry, Oley and Joanna). What a great boat and even better group of people.

I have been a mono hull sailor for decades and the people are nowhere near as nice or fun to party with.

I hope to see you all soon.

Cheers,
Neville

Sorry I missed it, I'll try harder next year.

Early on, Terry, Robi and I got together for a couple of days of tuning: not racing just measuring, discussing and sailing COMPARATIVELY. If you could manage that, even with a boat of another type, it would give you a huge boost.

But, coming from monohulls you have a lot to unlearn too. Try to find another cat to practice with, it will really help.
