Bajan, what part of the Carribbean? I did the same thing when I was a child/teen. We used to build our boats out of foam that we would find from roof insulations. We would shape them up, apply a few layers of resin, attach a buld and go racing. I can proudly say I was a champ in the two foot class. We use to swim behind our boats.
