Distance racing? There is a three day race around Oahu on Memorial day (we sometimes do the second day) and a race from Maui to Oahu on Labor day called "the Lahaina return". Mostly fun stuff in or around Kaneohe Bay on Oahu. We don't venture out to often due to the wear and tear on the boats (unless you are on a Hobie 16, still the best boat to get out in some big waves).
I'm headed to the Hobie 20 nationals in a week. How was Alameda last year?
