We are contemplating the Digital Hero 3, but (since we don't have a spinnaker pole to attach the camera to) we are wondering where and how to affix the camera.
Does anyone have experience with videotaping a sail, or know how to do it?
I found a windsurfer mast was very stable and stuck out the front a longway. I attatched the thick end under the front beam and the middle to the front bridle wires on my Stingray. Havn't done it on my 5.8 yet but should work the same. The camera I used wouldn't do both sides of the boat so I just set it to the interesting side with the most reaches and action.
