Hi Pete,

your mast does not have one leading edge but a lot. It must work with wind from left and right and for various mast rotation angle. Hence you are faced with the hard to answer question: Where is the leading edge and where do I want to have the saw teeth.
Actually I don't believe in any benefit for a mast/sail. At least my sail stalls from the trailing edge, not from the leading edge.
This might be different for rudders. And there could be a benefit indeed.
