If you try a little bungee cord from the swivel cam cleat to the spin turnning block it will pull the swivel cleat side ways some when you pop the spin halyard to drop the shute.

The halyard will drop next to the swivel cleat and not attempt to recleat it self.

At least on my boat it works well.
