We had a similar thing happen here.
Instead of making everyone use plastic tops on their masts they put up signs to ensure people are warned.

Apparently when God was creating the world, he gave you guys cute little Koala Bears and Kangaroo's, while we got overzealous Personal Injury Lawyers, and Juries that give excessive awards, thereby encouraging people to avoid personal responsibility and blame others for their own stupid actions. I think you got the better deal.
