can anyone remember the thread on above , someone talked of a line attached to somewhere on the kite , when dousing that pulled the sheets into the chute to stop the chance of bow wrapping , can't remember how i found it before , and fancy giving the system a try , any one used it ??, does it work ??, what do you do ??
I don't remember the thread, but the line you're talking about is as follows: The line attaches to the clew and is about 12 inches long. On the end of the line is a small ring. The dousing line comes out of the snuffer bowl, through the small ring, and then up the sail as normal. As you snuff, this pulls the clew of the sail (and the sheets) into hoop with the first part of the sail instead of the last.
