Gill - the "usual" config for F17 in the US is 1-up with main and spi. The F17 Sloops making a splash in Europe (as a F104) are only seen when the uni guys add jibs for distance racing/open racing/pleasure sailing. At least, that is what I have witnessed so far - someone please chime in if that is inaccurate.

If a F17 Sloop came to this regatta, would it have been in the F17 Class or Open Class? I have no idea.....

I did also see somewhere that the F104 class hopes to add a uni configuration to their allowable class configurations.

Does anyone know if the F17 Sloop and F17 Uni mainsails are identical in cut?
