Great idea, Rob! I could not find anything with a diagram of a catamaran and all its parts, nor could I find a glossary that also includes some of the parts that are used specifically on catamarans. If somebody out there would like to make a diagram, Rick and I can add the glossary from one of our books and update it with some of the more current terms, and we can make a page on our site for all that information.

I did find a site which could be used as a format for what you are talking about, but it is a monohull site -- it has the glossary of terms, followed by a sketch of a monohull with all the parts. I think the Hobie U. textbook has a sketch, but I'm not sure how elaborate it is, and I couldn't find it on the Internet. Maybe somebody else will help us out here.

I am glad you pointed out the problems with people from other countries understanding the English terminology.
