As for moving the Area qualifiers I like the idea of moving the event North and South every year so the burden of traveling to the event is somewhat offset every other year. There are multiple clubs wanting to host the Area Qualifiers which for me as an area rep is a very good thing.
That's great. For many years the area qualifer was always held up in the Panhandle. And on top of that, nobody ever notified the sailors down in the Florida peninsula. We usually found out about it after it was over. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
