Overweight and with a jib for the little woman to play with upwind. Now that is old fashioned. Why a jib when you have a Spin for downwind? But then, the HT never took off. go figure. HT too expensive? Then why the intimidating and expensive jib setup f18?
I am really with Randy on the alternate sport catamaran stance. The more distance we put between ourselves and the halfboats the better.
Anyone see the rash of swing keels on SA? They hell to hoist the thing out the water to get some weigth and corrective moment out of them. Basicly, they have got a proa on either tack, the one problem remaining is that the sail is 45 degrees of heel and desperately trying to shove the boat under with the little force remaining from heeling the monster
