Skip Kaub is writing up a story with pix and we will get that posted as soon as it comes in.
Patrick pretty well dominated the event. There were 4 or 5 of us in a near tie for second place, with Fahle just one point ahead of me, and Skip Kaub, Reggie Poplin, Stan Woodruff and another sailor all within a point or two going into the last day.
The wind was OK at the start. It was already light, but totally died before we got to weather mark.
Green was around first and before the next boat could make it, he was almost to the reaching mark. Fahle was next, then Scott.
I rounded with Poplin and Woodruff and somehow got something they didn't and pulled a good lead to finish fourth, giving me a second place overall. Pretty lucky, I think.
Congrats to Patrick for a great regatta. He has been having a lot of those lately.
Anxious to see how well he does at the Nationals.
