F16 yardstick is 71.5, Mozzie with spinnaker yardstick is 80.

If a Mozzie with spinnaker sailor wins a race using 80 and is not a member of F16 there can be no argument to use the lower handicap of 71.5(F16). If the Mozzie with spinnaker sailor is a F16 member then they are open to protest particularly if the Mozzie is signwritten as an F16.

How could you draw this conclusion? As long as the class has it's own rules and Yardstick which it does, if it is a Yardstick event you will allways enter and be rated as a Mosquito with Spinnaker.

I wouldn't expect you to as you don't use a spinnaker. Or is there something you haven't told us?
