The pulleys for the bungee are tied to the beam with the same piece of string that the spinnaker pulleys hang from, but it is tied solidly to the beam and doesn't move.
There isn't any spinnaker sheet slack when the spinnaker is down. It all goes in the chute.
The retrieval line running through a ring attached to the clew (by light bungee), pulls the clew and the sheets into the chute.
